Q: What is Paypal? How to receive Payment from Paypal?
A: If you have an account registered from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China,Ecuador, India, Jamaica, or Uruguay, you can request a check. The following rules apply:

There is a minimum withdrawal amount of $150.00 USD (or the equivalent thereof) required when you request a check.

Checks are not cashable and must be deposited. The account holder or business name to whom the check is addressed must match the account of deposit. Only the person or business listed on the PayPal account can deposit the check.

The check must be deposited in a bank account that lists the exact same name that is listed on the check. If the name on the check does not match the name on the bank account, you may not be able to deposit the check into your account.

Members with Personal/Premier accounts will receive checks issued in the name registered on their PayPal account.

Members with Business accounts will receive checks issued to the business name registered on the PayPal account.

Business account members can receive checks issued in their personal name by permanently downgrading the account to a Premier account.

The name field allows 35 characters. If your personal or business name on your PayPal account exceeds 35 characters, your name will be truncated.

The address field allows 35 characters. If your address on your PayPal account exceeds 35 characters, you will be asked to choose a different address. You will need to shorten your address to fit the 35 character limit.

The currency of your check will depend on your country of residence. Members in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, Jamaica, or Uruguay will receive their check denominated in US Dollars.

Members in India will receive their check denominated in Indian Rupee.

You will be assessed a fee per withdrawal by check. Fees for requesting a check are based on your country of residence.

Checks to these countries will actually be bank drafts and will be funded by PayPal as soon as they are sent. As such, PayPal cannot stop a check withdrawal transaction once it has been requested.

Your bank may charge fees for the deposit of these checks (e.g. if the currency of the check is different from your native currency); please check with your bank on any applicable fees before requesting a withdrawal by check from PayPal.

When you request a check, it will take 4-6 business days to process the request and prepare the check to be mailed. Postal delivery time is additional and can vary depending on your country of residence.

Please note:

Checks will expire if not deposited within 180 days of the issue date.

PayPal has no control over postal delivery times.

Check delivery may be delayed by government holidays in both the U.S. and in your home country.

PayPal is not responsible for inaccurately entered mailing information.

Business days do not include Holidays or weekends. If you have not received your check after 45 days from the time it was issued, we can request a "Stop Payment" on the check. Please note there is a $15.00 USD fee to place a stop payment on a check.
